YOUR ENTIRE SAMPLE LIBRARY.HYPERCHARGED.

Every sound you own, in key and in time, the moment you click it.

Built by Luke Bond, trance producer

The HYPERCRATE window: a searchable sample library with waveforms, tag filters and detected keys and tempos repitched to the project key, above the live meter deck and a running Layer Deck stack

HYPERCRATE is a sample manager for music producers. Every loop, one-shot and MIDI file you own sits in one searchable library, locked to your project's key and tempo before you ever drag it in.

SEE HOW IT WORKS. IN TWO MINUTES.

See the magic in action.

BUILT BY A PRODUCERWITH THE SAME PROBLEM.

Nearly 20 years producing. The part that overwhelmed me was never the music. It was finding the sample.

The more packs you buy, the worse it gets. They pile up year after year until the choice itself is paralysing.

Whether I needed a spark to start from, or the extra sounds that fill in the gaps and get a track over that last 10 percent, the search would drag on so long that I would just close the session.

Every sample had to be dragged into my DAW, repitched, stretched to my tempo, then auditioned. Then the same again for the next one. By the time a sound was finally in key and in time, the idea I was chasing had gone.

I had years of packs on a drive I barely opened. Finding the right sound cost more than the sound was worth.

So I built HYPERCRATE for myself. Just a way to hear my own library faster.

Then I put it in front of other producers. Established artists, people finishing their first track, all describing the same problem. Their feedback shaped it into what it is now: everything you own, in key and in time, before you drag it in. Nothing should ever make you wait.

“Hypercrate is the best app I got in the last 10 years at least, never thought browsing through my hectic library of samples would be that easy, and the way it connects them, never seen before. This is a must for every producer.”

ONE WINDOW.HERE IS WHAT EVERYTHING DOES.

No panels to arrange and no modes to learn. Your folders on the left, everything you own in the middle, and what each sound actually is on the right.

Point at a number to see what that part of the window is for.

The HYPERCRATE window: a folder tree on the left, a search box and tag filters above a list of samples with waveforms, and detected key, tempo and type in columns on the right, under a transport bar carrying the session key and tempo

  1. 1 Your folders and drivesEvery pack you already own in one tree, including a Splice library it found by itself.
  2. 2 Search it, or describe itType a name, or click the waveform mark and describe the sound in plain words instead.
  3. 3 Narrow it downType, key, BPM and tags, each one counting what is left as you go.
  4. 4 One row per sampleName, tags and a waveform you can click to play from any point, then drag straight to your DAW.
  5. 5 Set it once, up hereYour key and your tempo. Everything you click plays conformed to them, without touching a file.
  6. 6 Key, tempo and typeDetected for every file, with an arrow wherever a sound is being repitched or stretched to fit.

THE SAME WINDOW.UP CLOSE.

Every picture below is the running app, not a mockup.

In your key. In your tempo.

Every sound is repitched and time stretched to your project before you hear a note of it.

The project tempo set to 150 and the root key set to F at the top of the window, with three library rows below converting into F and 150

Describe it instead of naming it.

Describe sound takes plain words and ranks your library by what things actually sound like.

Stretched without the smearing.

Every preview you hear runs through Bungee Pro, a licensed engine that keeps transients crisp and timbre true. None of the robotic, phasey artefacts ordinary stretching leaves behind, on drums, speech, vocals or full polyphonic music.

The Layer Deck auditions sounds together, in key and in time, each lane with its own low cut and sidechain pump.

Press a key and the sound reaches your audio driver in just 2-5ms, already in your key and tempo.

Any loop, playable MIDI.

When a pack ships MIDI, HYPERCRATE pairs it with the audio. When it does not, a local AI model turns the loop into editable notes in one click.

It plays in your DAW's time.

Included VST3 and AU bridge plug-ins. Analyzer reads your project's key and tempo, Sync returns auditions through it in time, and Notes plays library MIDI on your own instrument.

Analysis is the only heavy part, and you choose how much of the machine it gets. A CPU control sits beside the progress bar with three settings: LOW runs a single file at a time and leaves the machine to you, MED takes about half your cores, and HIGH uses everything the chip has bar a couple of threads. It ships on HIGH, and you can change it mid-import: the new setting takes hold as the jobs already running finish. On Apple Silicon the two lower settings also ask macOS to keep analysis on the efficiency cores. Once a folder is indexed, browsing and auditioning stay instant on modest hardware.
