Terms of service
Last updated: 31 October 2026
The short version
These terms cover buying from lukebond.store. The sounds you buy are royalty-free in your own music, including music you release and sell. You cannot resell or share the sounds themselves. Courses are for you alone. HYPERCRATE has its own Terms of Use, which you accept in the app. Every product has a money-back guarantee, explained in our refund policy, and nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer.
Who we are
lukebond.store is run by LAB Innovation Limited, trading as Luke Bond Store, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17013971). Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can reach us at info@lukebond.store.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean LAB Innovation Limited, and "you" means the person buying from us or using the store.
Sample packs, presets, templates and other sounds
When you buy a sample pack, synth bank, preset pack, MIDI pack, DAW template or other sound product, we give you a personal licence to use what is inside it. The licence lasts for ever and you do not pay anything more for it.
What you can do. You can use the sounds, presets and templates in your own music and productions, commercial and non-commercial: records you release, sell or stream, music for film, games, video and adverts, and live and DJ performances. You do not need to credit us or pay royalties, and you keep all the rights in the music you make.
What you cannot do. You cannot:
- sell, give away, share, upload or trade the sounds, presets, templates or files themselves, on their own or as part of another sample pack, preset bank, sound kit, template or library, whether or not you have changed them;
- use them to make a product that competes with ours, such as a sample library, sound bank or sample service;
- use them to train, test or improve a machine learning or artificial intelligence model, or put them in a dataset for that purpose;
- register them, or music made only from them, with a content identification system in a way that claims the sounds themselves as yours.
A sound used inside your own finished track, mixed with your own work, is fine. The limits above are about passing on the sounds as sounds.
Who the licence is for. The licence is for the person who bought it. You can install the files on any computers you use yourself. A business or studio buying for several people should email us first so we can arrange the right licence.
Courses and masterclasses
When you buy a course or masterclass, you get personal access to it in our members area for as long as we offer that course. The access is for you alone: please do not share your login, or download, copy or republish the videos and materials. Any files supplied with a course for you to use in your own music are covered by the sound licence above.
If we ever stop offering a course you have bought, we will tell you in advance and give you a reasonable chance to finish it, or offer you a fair alternative.
HYPERCRATE
HYPERCRATE is our sample manager software. Your use of it is governed by the HYPERCRATE Terms of Use, which the app shows you and asks you to accept before you use it, and which you can read at any time in the app. Where those terms and these differ about the software, the HYPERCRATE Terms of Use apply. These terms still cover buying it from our store.
Ordering and prices
Prices are shown in the currency you choose and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken when you place your order, through Shopify's payment service, PayPal or another provider shown at checkout. Your order is accepted when we send your order confirmation.
If we have made an obvious mistake with a price, we will tell you and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or have a full refund.
Discount codes and sale prices apply only for their stated period and to the products they name, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Delivery
Our products are digital. Downloads are available straight after your order is confirmed, on the order confirmation page and in the email we send you. Courses appear in the members area, and HYPERCRATE is activated with the account you bought it with. Please keep a copy of your downloads. If a link stops working, email us and we will send a new one.
Cancellation and refunds
Every product has a money-back guarantee: 30 days for HYPERCRATE and 14 days for everything else. Our refund policy explains how it works, how to ask for a refund and how refunds are paid. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, it also covers your legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account login safe and for what is done with it. Please give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date, because that is where your downloads and receipts go. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms, for fraud, or to share products, and we will tell you why.
Our products and your rights
We work hard to make sure our products are as described and work as they should. If a product is faulty or not as described, you have rights under the law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
All the sounds, presets, videos, text, software and designs in our products and on this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Buying a product gives you the licence described in these terms, not ownership of the material itself.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you bought from us, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data. Our total liability to you for any product is limited to the price you paid for it.
If you are a consumer and digital content we supplied damages your device or other digital content belonging to you because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repair or compensation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These terms do not affect that right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the law or our products change. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. We will not change the licence you already have for a product you have bought in a way that takes away what you paid for.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the place you live and may bring proceedings in your own courts.
If something goes wrong, please email us first at info@lukebond.store. Most problems are sorted out quickly that way.
